So I find myself back at work again. Haven’t been to work for a while since last week I was away for a business case competition for Uni. It’s currently my Uni break and I’m spending the last two free days of it stuck here in the office. It’s a pretty slow day today so that means there’s lots of time to just think. As stated in my previous post, time is actually hard to come by as most of the time we’re flooded with tons of unwanted chores, tasks, or work. Because of this I’m trying to make my “free” time worthwhile by trying to plan out what I want to achieve over the next few years. My loving girlfriend has made me a timesheet that spans the next few years. The problem is that it’s actually pretty hard to fill. While I’m very happy with my life at the moment it’s pretty hard for me to try and map out my career path. I’ve always been the kind of person that floats along that deals with things as they happen, so trying to map everything out can be quite a task. I’m 21 and I’m graduating at the end of the year. The only thing I can imagine will happen will be that I will get some kind of job and make some amount of money. But what job should I be looking for and does it really matter? If I’m happy now then won’t the job I get not really affect me? I know I want to make lots of money but how am I going to do that? These are all probably questions I should’ve asked myself when I was younger but for now, I’m happy and I’ll figure it out by the end of this year….the year that seems to be going by way to fast.
